Tee times for local courses

Booking a round should feel like the round.

Tee times in three taps. No account, no fees, from the course's own website. Walking nine alone is right there on the first screen.

  • $149 a month, flat
  • No traded tee times
  • No contract

The seven rules

What we will not bend on

Every piece of Walking Nine is checked against these. If a feature breaks one, it does not ship.

  1. Three taps to a tee time

Pick a day, pick a time, say who you are. Done. No account, no password, no app.

  2. The price is the price

What the golfer sees is what the golfer pays. No fees, no countdown clock, no “4 people are looking at this.”

  3. Walking nine, just you, is on the first screen

Nine holes, one player, carry your bag. The way a lot of us actually play is the first option, not a buried one.

  4. Phone in the parking lot or laptop at lunch

It works at 375 pixels wide and on the big monitor at the office. Same three taps.

  5. Your course, your golfers, your tee sheet

Bookings come through your own website. Your golfers are your customers, not someone else’s email list.

  6. Flat price, month to month, leave when you want

One number. No traded tee times, no per-booking cut, no contract. Cancel with an email.

  7. A real person down the road

Built and run in Kernersville, NC. You can text the person who made it.

For golfers

For courses

Your website, your tee sheet, your golfers. $149 a month.

You got into this to run a golf course, not to fight a company in California for your own tee sheet. Walking Nine gives you a site with booking built in, a pro shop screen, texts, reporting, and a portal listing. No traded tee times, no golfer fees, no contract.

From Nick

I tried to book a round and got a phone number and a browser warning.

I grew up walking nine with my Pap and my Uncle Bub. I quit at 14 and came back at 30 as a dad. The game is the same. Booking it is not. I build websites for a living, and I could not let it go.

Questions

Straight answers

Do my golfers need an account or an app?

No. They book from your website in three taps with a name and a phone number. The confirmation comes by text.

Do you take a cut of bookings or sell my tee times?

No. You pay one flat price. We never take a tee time to resell and we never add a fee to a golfer’s booking.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month, or a year at a time if you want two months free. Leave when you want.

What does it cost?

$149 a month or $1,490 a year. Card payments through Stripe at Stripe’s published rates, paid by the course. Nothing else.

Can I keep my current point of sale?

Yes. Walking Nine runs beside it. Our pro shop screen is there if you want it.

How long does it take to switch?

We build your site in a week. Then we run 60 days of direct marketing to your golfers before you leave your old system, so they already book with you by the time you switch.

Who is behind this?

Nick at DiamondBack Advertising in Kernersville, NC. A real person you can text.

Want to see it on your own phone?

Twenty minutes. We pull up a demo course, you tap through a booking, and you tell us what your tee sheet needs. No slides.
